Fresh Nightmare: All Bark

Hi there!

This is the last of my new years straddling pieces. Time to get started with new pieces for 2011! This little guy is 5 & 1/4 inches high.

A few days into working on this one, I realized that my face hurt. It felt like I had pulled every muscle in my jaw. I was wracking my mind trying to think of what I might have done that made it hurt so much. Then I sat down to work on him, picked up a hand mirror and made that face at myself.

Here’s a menacing little creation for you.. I’ve been getting carried away with making folds of neck fat recently, so I thought I’d go crazy with it on this one and get it out of my system. The photos might not show it, but he’s pretty tiny, at 4 & 3/4 inches.

Well hello again! Here’s a fresh nightmare for you..

This lovely lady is another of my colored clay experiments. She’s 8 & 3/4 inches, and has made my worktable a slightly more frightening place to be.
